I was selected to join MAP’s Summer Internship Program as part of the Design Team. During my time there, I collaborated with the Exhibition Team to conceptualize and curate a digital exhibition for the Sasken Multimedia gallery. The project focused on storytelling of Bengal Patachitras paired with a thought design language blending the curatorial narrative with engaging visual elements.
By giving equal importance to content and design, we aimed to create an experience that kept audiences immersed from start to finish.
This was an incredibly fun and rewarding project where I had the chance to shoot a stop motion video, work on a larger scale and interact with real artworks to tell a story. If you’re in town, I’d highly recommend visiting MAP to experience the exhibition firsthand!

In the ideation phase we experimented with layout design, colour palettes and placement to build a strong visual narrative.
We tested different combinations of backgrounds, typography and sequencing to ensure the flow complemented the storytelling.
Each spread was refined to balance aesthetic appeal with readability, guiding the viewer through the content.
